
Peace and Transformation Initiative (PTI) is a faith based community development, regeneration and social action organization located in Bugiri District, Busoga region. It was set up in January 2013 with an aim of transforming the existing human moral and ethical standards by meeting the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of communities through evangelism, raising awareness, collective visioning and training. Evangelism is the heart beat of all PTIs programs.

Know About Our Overall Goal
The overall goal of PTI is to transform communities through evangelism, raising awareness, collective visioning and training towards peace building.
Pti Secretariat
PTI coordination office as part of the start up phase, the office is responsible for the coordination of PTI activities. The secretariat will carries out the day to day running of the organization. It is run by the Executive Director and the Program Coordinator. It will also employs the Program Assistant, Institutional Development Officer and the Finance and Administration Officer.
PTI continues to grow and expand its service provision to wider catchment communities. The need to increase effectiveness of service delivery is critical. This is especially important as the organization grows and transfers responsibilities, authority and accountability to various offices. In the effort to transfer responsibilities in the organization, the governing body will need to establish clear guidelines and policies for structuring, implementing activities of the organization and to regulate operations through authorization of plans, budgets and reports.

Implementation of the strategic plan will requires intensive resource mobilization to fund the planned activities under different strategic objectives. The comprehensive strategic work plan of PTI requires increased resources and high level funding. PTI mobilizes resources both externally and locally.
External resource mobilization
As part of resource mobilization plan, strategic meetings will be organized with development partners, donors and bilateral to explore funding opportunities for the PTI’s strategic plan. It is envisaged that PTI secretariat will develop project proposals in line with her vision, mission statement, goal and general strategic objectives that will be submitted to prospectus funding agencies for support.
Local resource mobilization:
PTI mobilizes resources from deferent local individuals, organizations and institutions. Fundraising drives will be organized and deferent civil society organizations will be contacted to participate. Partnerships will be solicited with the private sector, business community as well as the government in raising local resources for PTI activities.
